Family health, quietly

Know how they're doing before you have to ask.

One quiet summary each morning of how the people you love slept and moved, and one tap to reach out on the mornings it matters.

Whatever writes into them arrives too — Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Oura and the rest. Nothing new to wear, nothing new to remember.

Read-only, apart from the period days you log.

The name

Not a dashboard you have to check.

The whole app is a bell you'd notice if it changed. When a pattern shifts — three short nights, a quiet week — Bellwether says so in a plain sentence instead of burying it in a chart.

A bellwether is the one in the flock who wears the bell. You hear it from the next field over and you know how everyone is doing, long before you go and look.

How it works

Four steps, and then it's quiet.

Connect your health app

Bellwether reads what your phone and watch already collect — sleep, steps, activity, heart rate — from Apple Health or Health Connect.

Invite your circle

Send a private code to a parent, a partner, a sibling, a friend, or find them by email. They choose to join. No one is watched without knowing.

Wake up to the signal

Home opens on everyone's day at a glance. When something looks off, you hear it the same day, in a plain sentence — and once a week, how everyone is doing.

Reach out in one tap

Everyone in your circle has their own thread. Send a nudge or a check-in, and see their replies in one place.

What's inside

Everything a worried person needs, and nothing else.

Every figure is one someone's own phone or watch already recorded. Bellwether's job is to make it readable at a glance, one-handed, in a hurry.

Circle updates

A sentence, not a chart

A weekly summary of your circle — harder weeks first, measured against each person's own usual, then everyone else, then the good news. A daily digest too, if you want one.

The day, as a flower

One petal each for sleep, steps, exercise, heart, blood oxygen and stress — the longer the petal, the better that part of the day. Tap one for the detail behind it.

Win streak

Two of three is a win

A day wins when it meets two of its three goals: steps, sleep and exercise. Hit all three for a perfect day, set your own target, or go past all of them for a super goal.

Challenges

A little friendly competition

A 20K Day, a Weekend Warrior, a Step Duel, a Rested Week — or set your own bar. Up to ten people, and they see only the one figure the challenge counts.

One tap to reach out

Encourage, remind, celebrate, check in, or just say hi — pick a quick one or say it in your own words. Share a win back when the day goes well.

Who to watch

Closer for some, weekly for others

Watch someone closely and smaller changes count, up to three alerts a day. Keep others to the weekly summary. It only changes your notifications — they're never told.

Per personOnly you see it

Cycle tracking, if you want it

Log flow and see a prediction from your own logged days. Shown only if you choose to share it.

Groups only you see

Sort your circle into Family, Friends, Work and Other. Nobody is told which one they're in.

Three looks

Light, Ember and Midnight — the same three this page switches between up top.

Four languages

English, Español, Français and Türkçe, with type sized for people reading in a hurry.

A look inside

The real thing, tab by tab.

Screens from the app, in the mode you picked at the top of this page. Switch between Light, Ember and Midnight and every screen below changes with it — the app ships all three, and so does this page.

Your circle, first thing

A greeting, then everyone's day at a glance — sleep, steps and a score in traffic-light colours, so a rough night stands out before you read a number. The latest nudge from your circle sits right underneath, with a button to nudge back.

Every connection here is mutual and was accepted by both sides. Sort people into groups, choose how closely to watch each one, and tap a card for their week. Remove someone and the sharing ends in both directions.

Your own day, as a flower

A sentence on how the day is going, then the flower, then a card for each petal: sleep stages and a nightly score, steps against your goal, exercise minutes, heart rate and variability, blood oxygen, stress. Week and month views when you want the trend.

A streak, and a bit of competition

Your current run, your best run, and a calendar of the days that counted. Plan a goal ahead for a busy week. Next door, the challenges you're in: who's leading, what's starting soon, and what finished.

What your circle sees of you

Every category you share, spelled out in plain words, and how to stop. Your mode, your language, your notifications — and deleting your account and everything in it, from inside the app.

Shared dataSettingsDelete account

Your data, plainly

Consent-based, start to finish.

Nobody appears in your circle without agreeing to it, and sharing always runs both ways.

They say yes

An invite code expires after seven days. Nothing is shared until the other person accepts.

The phone asks first

Apple Health or Health Connect asks each person what Bellwether may read, on their own phone.

Both sides see the same

Anyone in your circle sees of you exactly the categories you see of them. Profile lists every one.

Stop any time

Turn Bellwether off in your health app, leave a circle, block someone, or delete your account in the app.

Never soldYour health information is not sold and not used for advertising.
No numbersAnalytics sees event names only — never a step count, a score or a heart rate.
On-deviceBlood oxygen stays on each person's own phone. It isn't shared with the circle.
24 hoursEvery report is reviewed within a day, and the person reported is never told who sent it.

The full detail. Some summaries are written by an AI service from the figures alone — never your name or email. Every field we read, every provider we use, and how to delete everything is in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

Not medical advice. Bellwether is a general wellness app. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent anything. If you're worried about someone, talk to them, and talk to a doctor.

Keep your family close

Tomorrow morning, you'll already know.

How they slept, whether they moved, and whether today is a day to call.
